...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST SUNDAY
THROUGH THOMPSON PASS AND VALDEZ...

* WIND...NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS 40 TO 55 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 75
  MPH. GUSTS AS HIGH AS 80 TO 90 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH
  THOMPSON PASS.

* WIND CHILL...THROUGH THE PASS...WIND CHILLS VALUES WILL DROP TO
  30 TO 40 BELOW ZERO THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

* BLOWING SNOW...BLOWING SNOW MAY REDUCE VISIBILITY TO A HALF
  MILE OR LESS AT TIMES NEAR THE TOP OF THOMPSON PASS.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THROUGH THOMPSON PASS
  TODAY AND PEAK THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT BEFORE GRADUALLY
  DIMINISHING SUNDAY MORNING. WINDS IN VALDEZ WILL PEAK SATURDAY
  AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT THEN GRADUALLY DIMINISH SUNDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT. LOOSE DEBRIS CAN BE MOVED
  AND DAMAGE PROPERTY. BOATS AND AIRCRAFT SHOULD BE WELL
  SECURED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED
OR OCCURRING. PEOPLE ARE URGED TO SECURE LOOSE OBJECTS THAT COULD
BE BLOWN AROUND OR DAMAGED BY THE WIND.
