...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a High Wind
Watch, which is in effect from late Saturday night through Sunday
afternoon.

* LOCATIONS...Jefferson and Lewis counties. Mainly the Black River
  Valley and north of the Tug Hill.

* TIMING...From late Saturday night through early Sunday
  afternoon.

* WINDS...Southeast 25 to 35 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Strong to damaging winds possible. Shallow rooted
  trees may be downed more easily with the recently thawed and
  saturated soil conditions. Travel may become hazardous for
  high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds of 58 mph or greater could produce property damage,
including downed trees and power lines that could result in power
outages. Home owners should secure personal property.
