...STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS expected this morning AND
afternoon...

.a cold front will bring strong and gusty winds to the area today
as it moves through. The strongest winds are expected to be across
the higher terrain from the Santa Cruz Mountains northward, as
well as along the San Francisco Peninsula Coastline. Winds will
diminish during the afternoon.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM PDT
THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 6 AM this morning to 3 PM PDT
this afternoon.

* TIMING...This morning through mid afternoon.

* WINDS...Southerly winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult especially for
  drivers of high profile vehicles. Downed trees and powerlines
  are also possible during these strong winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
