...ALL TIME HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY TIED IN
AUGUSTA GA...

...ALL TIME HIGHEST MINIMUM TEMPERATURE ON RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF
FEBRUARY SET AT AUGUSTA GA...

THE LOW TEMPERATURE IN AUGUSTA ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 21ST WAS 66
DEGREES.  THIS BROKE THE DAILY RECORD HIGHEST MINIMUM TEMPERATURE
RECORD FOR THE DATE, WHICH PREVIOUSLY WAS 59 DEGREES LAST SET ON THE
DATE IN 1991.

THIS ALSO REPRESENTS THE WARMEST EVER DAILY MINIMUM TEMPERATURE EVER
RECORDED IN AUGUSTA DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY.  THE PREVIOUS
RECORD WAS 65 SET ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, LAST SET ON FEBRUARY 27,
1944.

IN ADDITION, THE HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 86 IN AUGUSTA ON WEDNESDAY NOT
ONLY BROKE THE PREVIOUS DAILY RECORD HIGH FOR THE DATE OF 80 DEGREES
LAST SET IN 2011, BUT ALSO TIED THE ALL TIME HIGHEST TEMPERATURE
EVER RECORDED IN AUGUSTA DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY.  THE
PREVIOUS 86 DEGREE READING OCCURRED ON FEBRUARY 28, 1962.

DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS IN AUGUSTA DATE BACK TO 1873.
