URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

...Critical fire weather conditions possible Monday...

.The combination of relative humidity values falling below 20
percent and southwest winds gusting around 25 mph will create the
possibility of critical fire weather conditions being met for a
few locations along and west of the Colorado Kansas border Monday.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH
MONDAY AFTERNOON FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE
WEATHER ZONES 013...027...253 AND 254...

The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity...which is in
effect from Monday morning through Monday afternoon.

* Affected Area...In Colorado...Fire Weather Zone 253 Kit Carson
  and Fire Weather Zone 254 Cheyenne. In Kansas...Fire Weather
  Zone 013 Sherman and Fire Weather Zone 027 Wallace.

* Winds...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 17 percent.

* Temperatures...around 60 degrees.

* Impacts...Any fires that start will have extreme fire behavior
  and spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not advised.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
