...RED FLAG WARNING THROUGH LATE TONIGHT FOR THE DESERTS AND
DESERT MOUNTAIN SLOPES OF RIVERSIDE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTIES FOR
STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES...

.Low humidities will continue for the deserts and desert slopes of
the mountains through Wednesday with a slight recovery Thursday.
Stronger onshore flow will bring periods of strong gusty west
winds along the desert slopes of the mountains of Riverside and
San Diego Counties through late this evening with the winds
gradually weakening for Wednesday into Thursday.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM PDT WEDNESDAY
FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES FOR THE DESERTS AND
DESERT SLOPES OF THE MOUNTAINS IN RIVERSIDE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTIES...

* Wind...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Isolated gusts to
  45 mph.

* Humidity...Lowest daytime around 5 percent with slight recovery
  late tonight to 10 to 15 percent.

* Outlook...Winds will slowly decrease for Wednesday into Thursday
  with a slight recovery in humidities Thursday. Another period of
  near critical fire weather conditions is expected for late
  Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday evening.

* Impacts...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
