RAINFALL WILL RESULT IN RIVER RISES THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK...

THE REGION HAS RECEIVED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS...
RANGING FROM 1.5 INCHES TO MORE THAN 3 INCHES IN A FEW AREAS. HEAVY RAIN ALSO
OCCURRED UPSTREAM...BUT AMOUNTS WERE SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN IN THE MIDLANDS AND
EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA. THIS HEAVY RAIN HAS RESULTED IN SUBSTANTIAL RIVER RISES
DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS. SOME LOCATIONS WILL APPROACH FLOOD STAGE LATE
THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY.
