SKIES VARIED FROM CLOUDY TO MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWEST INDIANA TUESDAY AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE
UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S WITH SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS
25 MPH.

LOW PRESSURE JUST NORTH OF LAKE SUPERIOR AND AN ASSOCIATED COLD
FRONT WILL BE THE FOCUS FOR WEATHER THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.
SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO USHER IN
WARM AND HUMID AIR WITH EVENING TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S AND 70S
ALONG WITH VERY HUMID. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
DURING THE EVENING HOURS...AND ENDING OVERNIGHT. SOME OF THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS...LARGE
HAIL AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN BUILD ACROSS THE
UPPER MIDWEST ON WEDNESDAY BRINGING COOLER AND DRY CONDITIONS TO
THE AREA. HIGHS ON WEDNESDAY WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S.
