SKIES WERE CLOUDY ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA DURING THE LATE MORNING HOURS. AFTER MORNING LOWS IN THE
SINGLE DIGITS IN THE OUTLYING AREAS TO THE LOW 20S NEAR THE
LAKEFRONT...TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE TEENS TO LOW 20S.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS...WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST TO
THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY BY THURSDAY EVENING. THIS WILL KEEP THE
REGION DRY BUT ALSO BRING ARCTIC AIR TODAY AND ON THURSDAY. HIGH
TEMPERATURES OCCURRED EARLY THIS MORNING...AND AFTERNOON
TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY BE IN THE TEENS TO LOW 20S. ON
THURSDAY...HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN THE TEENS. QUIET WEATHER WILL
CONTINUE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS A WARM UP BEGINS. AS THE HIGH
PUSHES OFF TO OUR EAST FRIDAY...SOUTHERLY WINDS ON ITS BACKSIDE
WILL BRING WARMER AIR INTO THE REGION THAT WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
THE WEEKEND. THUS TEMPERATURES WILL GET BACK TO SEASONAL
LEVELS...WHICH ARE IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S...BY SUNDAY.
