A DEVELOPING BROAD TROPICAL DISTURBANCE IS CENTERED NORTH-NORTHEAST
OF YAP NEAR 12N140E. A SURFACE TROUGH RUNS NORTHEASTWARD FROM IT TO
END NEAR THE NORTHERN TIP OF THE MARIANA ISLANDS AT 21N147E.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING NEAR THESE
FEATURES OVER THE MARIANA ISLANDS AND NEAR YAP BETWEEN 8N AND 19N
FROM 136E TO 148E.

CONVERGING SOUTHEAST WINDS FEEDING TOWARD THE DISTURBANCE AND TROUGH
ARE CAUSING ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK WITHIN
100 MILES OF A LINE FROM 9N150E TO 1N148E.

A TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE IS TRIGGERING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS OVER KOSRAE AND THE SOUTHWESTERN MARSHALL ISLANDS
BETWEEN 3N AND 8N FROM 161E TO 171E.

CONVERGING TRADE WINDS ARE PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS FROM MAJURO TO THE DATE LINE WITHIN 100 MILES OF A LINE
FROM 6N171E TO 8N178E TO 2N179E.

A COLD FRONT EXTENDS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM NORTH OF MINAMI TORI SHIMA
THROUGH 25N153E TO END NEAR IWO TO ISLAND AT 22N136E. CLOUDINESS AND
PATCHY RAIN ARE SEEN ALONG AND NORTH OF THIS BOUNDARY TO BEYOND
25N.
