BASED ON DATA THROUGH 1200 UTC MAY 06 2016

A COLD FRONT LOCATED 400 MILES NORTHWEST OF KAUAI IS MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH...AND STRETCHES FROM 30N157W TO 21N180W. THE
FRONT IS ASSOCIATED WITH A 250 MILE WIDE CLOUD BAND MADE UP OF
OVERCAST LAYERED CLOUDS WITH EMBEDDED TOWERING CUMULUS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS NORTH OF 27N. PATCHY LOW CLOUDS ARE MOVING
NORTH AHEAD OF THE FRONT IN THE AREA NORTH OF 20N AND WITHIN 700
MILES EAST OF THE FRONT. FARTHER TO THE EAST...NORTH OF 20N AND
BETWEEN 140W AND 150W...HIGH PRESSURE IS PUSHING LOW SCATTERED TO
BROKEN LOW CLOUDS WESTWARD AT 15 MPH. BEHIND THE FRONT...BROKEN
STRATOCUMULUS CLOUDS ARE MOVING SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

OVER HAWAII...SOUTHEAST FLOW IS BRINGING LOW CLOUDS INTO THE
SOUTHEAST AND WINDWARD BIG ISLAND CREATING PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY
SKIES WITH SOME EMBEDDED SHOWERS. THE SOUTHEAST FLOW IS MAINLY
BLOCKED OVER THE SMALLER ISLAND...AND PATCHY LOW CLOUDS WITH
EMBEDDED SHOWERS ARE DRIFTING OVER AND NEAR THE ISLANDS.

BETWEEN 10N AND 20N ACROSS THE CENTRAL PACIFIC...SCATTERED LOW
CLOUDS ARE MOVING WEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH. FARTHER SOUTH INTO THE
DEEP TROPICS ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FIRING WITH OVERSHOOTING
CLOUD TOPS REACHING 50 THOUSAND FEET.
