BASED ON DATA THROUGH 1200 UTC MAY 29 2015

AS OF 200 AM HST...WATER VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWED AN UPPER TROUGH
EXTENDING SOUTHWEST ACROSS HAWAII FROM AN UPPER LOW CENTERED NORTH
OF THE AREA NEAR 39N150W. PLENTY OF MIDDLE TO UPPER MOISTURE
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS UPPER TROUGH SUPPORTED A LARGE AREA OF BROKEN
TO OVERCAST LAYERED CLOUDS BETWEEN 24N AND 30N FROM 140W TO 150W.
THIS AREA OF CLOUDS WAS MOVING EASTWARD AROUND 30 MPH.

SCATTERED LOW-LEVEL CUMULUS CLOUDS WERE SHOWN WEST OF 160W BETWEEN
10N AND 30N SOUTH OF A RIDGE AXIS. CLOUD MOTION WAS TOWARD THE
SOUTHWEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH. CLOUD TOPS WERE GENERALLY LESS THAN 10
THOUSAND FEET WITHIN THIS AREA.

SCATTERED TO BROKEN LOW CLOUDS WERE SHOWN AROUND AND OVER EACH OF
THE MAIN HAWAIIAN ISLANDS. CLOUD TOPS WERE LESS THAN 15 THOUSAND
FEET. VERY LITTLE CLOUD MOTION WAS SHOWN EAST OF MAUI. CLOUD MOTION
WAS TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST AROUND OAHU AND KAUAI.

SOUTH OF THE ISLANDS...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING WITHIN
THE ITCZ BETWEEN 5N AND 12N FROM 140W TO 180. CLOUD TOPS RANGED FROM
45 TO 55 THOUSAND FEET. CLOUD MOTION WAS TOWARD THE WEST AROUND 15
MPH.
