...TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO WARM TODAY...

Temperatures rising above zero today in the southern interior.

Many areas south of Livengood will see temperatures rise above
the zero mark with some reaching double digits above. Temperatures
in the hills and areas south of the Tanana River have risen into
the teens above and will remain steady through the day as weak
chinook flow continues over the Alaska Range.

Temperatures will continue to climb through Wednesday as south
flow continues across the Alaska Range into the interior.

For the Fairbanks area, high temperatures will be around 70
degrees warmer than our low of 51 below last Wednesday as they
climb to around 6 above today, and into the teens above
Wednesday. For the Delta Junction area highs today will be in the
teens and Wednesday the mid 20s above.

Warming temperatures may produce frost on the frozen paved roads
today through the remainder of the week making them slick.
Caution should be used when traveling around the area, especially
on low traffic roads.
