EASTERN TREUTLEN AND EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES UNTIL 1230 AM EDT...

At 1150 PM EDT...a strong thunderstorm was near Normantown, or near
Lyons...moving south at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind and heavy rain.

  IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light...unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
           street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Some locations in the path of this storm include
Lyons, Vidalia, Uvalda, Stillmore, Oak Park, Higgston, Santa Claus,
Alston, Nunez, Ohoopee, New Branch, McNatt Falls, South Thompson,
English Eddy, Cedar Crossing, Johnson Corner, Zaidee, Gillis Springs,
Center and Toombs Central.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should
slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
