WESTERN LOGAN...WESTERN SANGAMON...EASTERN CASS...SOUTHERN MASON AND
MORGAN COUNTIES UNTIL 145 AM CDT...

At 1240 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers with
embedded thunderstorms along a line extending from Bath to near
Virginia to near Exeter. Movement was east at 35 mph. While the
storms themselves are not terribly strong, the rainfall is helping
to transport stronger winds down from aloft.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Jacksonville, Mason City, Virginia, Winchester, Chatham,
Alexander, Sherman, Petersburg, Athens, Williamsville, New Berlin,
Ashland, Waverly, Pleasant Plains, Greenview, Loami, Franklin,
Chandlerville and Chapin.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 155 between mile markers 2 and 5.
 Interstate 55 between mile markers 100 and 115.
 Interstate 72 between mile markers 50 and 96.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
