...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EASTERN CLARKE COUNTY UNTIL 215
AM CDT...

At 145 AM CDT, Meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Snell to 6 miles south of Crandall.
Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Clarke
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
east central Mississippi.
