...BLACK ICE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING ON ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY ON
ELEVATED ROADWAYS AND BRIDGES...

SKIES HAVE CLEARED AND WINTER PRECIPITATION HAS MOVED EAST OF THE
AREA. RESIDUAL MOISTURE, SLUSH, AND SNOW MAY REFREEZE IN SOME
AREAS. THE MOST LIKELY AREAS FOR REFREEZING ARE ELEVATED ROADWAYS
AND BRIDGES, ESPECIALLY IN AREAS THAT EXPERIENCED THE HEAVIEST
SNOWFALL. TEMPERATURES IN MANY AREAS HAVE DROPPED BELOW FREEZING
THIS MORNING AND WILL REMAIN THERE UNTIL 1030AM OR SO. THIS WILL
LEAD TO BLACK ICE ON SOME SURFACES. BLACK ICE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO
SEE ON THE ROAD AND CAN LEAD TO SUDDEN LOSS OF TRACTION.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU NEED TO TRAVEL
THIS MORNING. BE PREPARED FOR ICY CONDITIONS ON ROADWAYS,
ESPECIALLY AS YOU CROSS BRIDGES AND DRIVE ON ELEVATED HIGHWAYS.
