WEST TO NORTHWESTERLY FLOW ALOFT WILL CONTINUE ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS
TODAY. AT THE SURFACE...A WEAK PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL CONTINUE AS
WELL.

THERE IS ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE OKLAHOMA
BORDER. LIGHTNING IS THE MAIN THREAT. OFF AND ON AGAIN THUNDERSTORMS
WILL CONTINUE FOR PORTIONS OF THE REGION THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD.
LIGHTNING AND MODERATE RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE THE MAIN THREATS.
