ANOTHER SURGE OF WARM AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA TODAY. GUSTY
SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL ALLOW FOR TEMPERATURES TO SOAR WELL INTO THE
50S THIS AFTERNOON WITH READINGS NEAR 60 DEGREES IN PARTS OF
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH LATER THIS
AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING, BRINGING AN END TO THE WARMER
TEMPERATURES. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST TONIGHT AND USHER
IN MUCH COOLER AIR TO THE REGION. A FEW SPRINKLES OR FLURRIES WILL
BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT IN PARTS OF SOUTHWEST INDIANA. HIGHS ON
TUESDAY WILL ONLY BY IN THE 30S FOR MUCH OF THE AREA, WITH LOWER
40S POSSIBLE IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI. STILL NO SIGNS OF WIDESPREAD
RAINFALL FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK AND TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY
REMAIN IN THE 40S FOR HIGHS FROM MID TO LATE WEEK.
