THERE IS AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS.
THIS HIGH IS HELPING TO STEER AN UPPER LOW INTO THE SOUTHEAST
COAST OF TEXAS. THIS WILL BRING IN SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A
FEW STORMS TODAY NEAR HOUSTON. THEN FOR THURSDAY AND INTO THE
LABOR DAY WEEKEND, THE UPPER LOW WILL DRIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST
INTO NORTHERN MEXICO. THIS WILL RESULT IN WIDELY SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL.
