URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...Periods of Light Snow Continue Overnight...

.Periods of light snow will continue overnight for portions of
southwest and central Wisconsin, gradually tapering off from west
to east through the night.

Snow covered and slick roads will continue through the night,
resulting in hazardous travel at times. In addition, continued
gusty northerly winds will result in some blowing and drifting of
snow, resulting in restrictions to visibility.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has cancelled the
Winter Weather Advisory.

Accumulating snow has moved east of the area, allowing the Winter
Weather Advisory to be cancelled. However, area roadways are
likely to remain slick through the night due to snow cover and
falling temperatures. Motorists should continue to exercise
caution if traveling tonight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
SATURDAY...

* Periods of light snow will continue overnight, tapering off
  from west to east through the night.

* Additional snow accumulation of around an inch is expected for
  portions of southwest and central Wisconsin.

* Some minor blowing and drifting of snow is possible,
  especially across open areas and along ridge tops.

* Snow and slick covered roads will continue, making travel
  hazardous at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
