.AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL SWING SOUTH ALONG THE PAC COAST
THROUGH SATURDAY...HELPING TO BRING COLDER AND MORE MOIST AIR TO
THE REGION. AS ENERGY FROM THE SYSTEM SWINGS EAST OVER OUR
REGION...THEN STALLS...AND FINALLY MOVES AWAY TO THE SOUTH...THE
OWYHEES STAND THE BEST CHANCE TO SEE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL.
THEREFORE...AN ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED.

ADVISORY FOR SNOW IN THE OWYHEE MOUNTAINS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM NOON FRIDAY TO 11 AM MST SATURDAY.

* SNOW AMOUNTS...4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW TOTAL.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN FRIDAY AROUND MIDDAY AND LAST UNTIL
  LATE MORNING SATURDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS LIKELY TO FALL FROM
  LATE AFTERNOON TO AROUND MIDNIGHT ON FRIDAY.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW-COVERED AND SLICK...ESPECIALLY
  HIGHWAY 95.
