...Bands of Light to Moderate Snow Continue Across Kentucky
Through Midday...

.A storm system will continue to bring light to moderate snow
mainly to southern and eastern Kentucky through this afternoon.
Most areas can expect an additional snow accumulation of 1 to
2 inches, with local amounts up to 3 inches where the better snow
bands set up and persist. Bitter cold wind chills will also
impact southern Indiana and north central Kentucky this morning.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy Snow occurring. Dangerous wind chills expected,
  including during the morning commute. Additional accumulations
  up to 1 inch are expected. Wind chill values will be around -10
  through midday.

* WHERE...Hancock County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 1 PM today. For the
  Wind Chill Advisory, until Noon EST.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills will cause frostbite
  in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
occurring This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kentucky, northwest Kentucky
  and south central Kentucky.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
