..A WINTER STORM WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT...

.AN EARLY MARCH WINTER STORM WAS UNDERWAY OVER THE MIDSOUTH
WEDNESDAY EVENING. SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL
OCCUR FROM NORTHEAST ARKANSAS THROUGH THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL AND
NORTHWEST TENNESSEE. ALONG AND IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE
40 CORRIDOR...A MIXTURE OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL OCCUR THIS
EVENING...BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO SNOW LATE TONIGHT. NORTH
MISSISSIPPI WILL SEE A TRANSITION FROM RAIN TO A MIXTURE OF
FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET THROUGH THE LATE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.
BRISK NORTHERLY WINDS WILL PREVAIL OVER THE ALL THE MIDSOUTH
TONIGHT. WINDS WILL PARTICULARLY STRONG OVER THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER DELTA. THE STRONG WINDS WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES WHEN
ACCOMPANIED BY SLEET OR SNOW. BY SUNRISE THURSDAY...WIND CHILLS
OVER THE MIDSOUTH WILL RANGE FROM THE MID TEENS EAST OF THE
NATCHEZ TRACE PARKWAY IN NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...TO THE MID AND
