...LIGHT SNOW DEVELOPS OVER EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA ON WEDNESDAY...

.Snow will break out by late morning across the coastal plain,
and quickly move east and southeast across the rest of E NC
through the afternoon hours, eventually pushing off the coast by
Wednesday evening. Temperatures may rise through the 40s in the
morning, and the precipitation may start as a brief period of
rain before quickly changing over to snow after it begins. Snow
amounts should range from about 1 to 2 inches north of a
Kenansville to New Bern to Manteo line, to only around a trace on
the Crystal Coast and southern Outer Banks.
