...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PDT THIS
MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect until 10 AM PDT
this morning.

* TIMING...Steady light to moderate snow will continue until 8 or
  9 AM this morning, then taper to snow showers.

* SNOW LEVEL...As low as 2500 feet in eastern Skamania County.
  Otherwise 4000 to 4500 feet.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 to 8 inches.

* IMPACTS...Primarily higher elevations of the south Washington
  Cascades. However...with the snow level being lower in eastern
  Skamania County, access to the Mount Adams area and Indian
  Heaven Wilderness from the Trout Lake area will likely be
  impacted this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
