URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...ONE STORM ENDS, ANOTHER ARRIVES TOMORROW...

.The current storm is winding down but there will be a very short
break this afternoon and tonight as another storm quickly
approaches. Snow will initially arrive Early Tuesday morning
across the South Washington Cascades followed later that morning
for the remainder of the North Oregon and Lane County Cascades.
Snow levels around 3000 feet will rise to or above 5000 feet by
late Tuesday afternoon. A cold front crosses the region Wednesday
afternoon lowering snow levels close to 3000 feet again.

WEDNESDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET...
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 10 AM PST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 5000 feet. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 3 feet are expected over the total warning
  period. Elsewhere, snow levels will fluctuate between 3000 and
  5000 feet during the period. 6 to 18 inches of snow will
  accumulate with higher amounts at the higher elevations.

* WHERE...South Washington Cascades.

* WHEN...7 AM Tuesday to 8 PM Wednesday. Heaviest accumulations at
  the higher elevations will occur Tuesday afternoon through Early
  Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect significant reductions in
  visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
