.SUBFREEZING AIR WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THE END
OF THE WEEK. MOISTURE COMBINED WITH NORTHWEST WINDS WILL RESULT
IN PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH LATE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALONG THE WESTERN SLOPES OF THE APPALACHIANS. IN
ADDITION...WIND CHILLS BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL DROP WELL BELOW
ZERO. SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.
