The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Chester County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Southern York County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 400 AM EDT

* At 1254 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to two inches of rain have fallen over the past couple hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Newport, Lesslie, Sharon, Mcconnells, Lowrys,
  Catawba, Bullock Creek and York.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flood water flowing over roads or threatening property,
or landslides to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
1, 800, 2 6 7, 8 1 0 1, or by posting on our Facebook page, or Tweet
it using hashtag nwsgsp. your message should describe the event and
the specific location where it occurred.
