This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for piedmont North Carolina and
upstate South Carolina.

   Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could become severe with
damaging winds and large hail the main threats. Locally heavy
rainfall will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
