western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

In addition to the heavy rain, embedded thunderstorms could produce a
few cloud to ground lightning strikes as well.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Widespread showers will continue across the area with periods of
heavy rain possible overnight. Rainfall totals of up to 3 inches
could lead to isolated flooding. In addition, a few embedded
thunderstorms may produce isolated cloud to ground lightning strikes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

..Monday...Heavy rain with flooding possible. Showers will taper off
through the day Monday. However, any isolated flooding that does
develop could linger through the morning.
..Tuesday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Wednesday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Thursday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Friday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
