THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST GEORGIA...PIEDMONT
NORTH CAROLINA...WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A COLD FRONT WILL REMAIN ALMOST STATIONARY ACROSS THE WESTERN
CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA THROUGH TONIGHT. A VERY MOIST AIR
MASS WILL INTERACT WITH THE FRONT TO PRODUCE NUMEROUS TO
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA BY THIS
AFTERNOON...AND CONTINUING INTO THE OVERNIGHT. THE PRIMARY THREAT
WITH THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE FROM LOCALLY HEAVY...AND POSSIBLY
EXCESSIVE RAINFALL...WHICH COULD RESULT IN ISOLATED FLASH
FLOODING. THIS WILL BE ESPECIALLY POSSIBLE ALONG THE FRONT...WHERE
TRAINING HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

..SATURDAY...HEAVY RAIN WITH FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE. THE THREAT
FOR HEAVY RAIN AND LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
SATURDAY.
..SUNDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
..MONDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
