the eastern upstate of South Carolina.

Scattered thunderstorms will move across the Interstate 77 corridor
in the piedmont of the Carolinas through the late evening hours. A
few cloud to ground lightning strikes will be possible along with
locally heavy rainfall. Flooding of poor drainage areas will be
possible.
