This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for piedmont North Carolina and the
eastern Upstate of South Carolina.

A line of showers and thunderstorms will move east of the Interstate
77 corridor before daybreak. Another round of isolated to scattered
thunderstorms will likely develop in piedmont locations of the
Carolinas with a passing cold front this afternoon. Cloud to ground
lightning, briefly gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall will be
the main threats with any thunderstorms.
