This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible through the early morning hours.
Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning and heavy downpours will be the
main threats. There is also the potential for flash flooding because
of the expected slow movement of the storms, particularly in
locations that have had heavy rain in the last several days.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

..Sunday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Monday...Severe weather with flash flooding possible. A cold front
will move into the region from the northwest on Monday and slowly
cross the region into Monday night. Strong to severe thunderstorms
with quarter-size hail and brief, damaging winds will be possible
during the afternoon and evening hours. Very heavy rainfall will be
possible with the thunderstorms as well, and isolated flash flooding
may develop in areas repeatedly affected by thunderstorms.
..Tuesday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Wednesday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Thursday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Friday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
