This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for piedmont North Carolina and
western North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop across
the area into the evening. While the main threats will be from cloud
to ground lighting, locally heavy rainfall, and gusty winds, one or
two severe storms capable of producing brief quarter size hail and
damaging wind gusts remain possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

..Saturday...Severe weather possible. Scattered thunderstorms are
expected Saturday afternoon along and south of a stationary front
extending across the area. The main threats will be from locally
heavy rainfall, cloud to ground lightning, and gusty winds. However,
a few severe thunderstorms, producing brief damaging winds and large
hail are possible.

..Monday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Tuesday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Wednesday...No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
