.UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR WILL BUILD ACROSS THE WESTERN CAROLINAS
AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA TONIGHT. IN FACT...TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
TO FALL TO FREEZING OR BELOW OVER MUCH OF THE AREA BY EARLY
WEDNESDAY. IN ADDITION TO THE COLD AIR...WINDY CONDITIONS WILL
DEVELOP TODAY AND CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING. THE HIGHEST WINDS
WILL BE ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF THE CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST

  THROUGH THE EVENING. TEMPERATURES FALLING BELOW FREEZING
  OVERNIGHT AND CONTINUING INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...NORTH 15 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...HIGHS IN THE UPPER 50S. LOWS IN THE MID 20S.

* IMPACTS...POSSIBLE SEVERE DAMAGE TO TENDER VEGETATION. THE VERY
