...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHERN FOOTHILLS AND
PIEDMONT OF NORTH CAROLINA TONIGHT...

.An area of cold and dry high pressure will filter in from the
north today through tonight. Clear skies and persistent
northeasterly winds will allow temperatures to drop below
freezing overnight tonight.

...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM EDT
THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued
a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from midnight tonight to
9 AM EDT Thursday.

* LOCATIONS...Lincoln and Cabarrus counties in North Carolina.

* TEMPERATURES...Lows 30 to 32.

* IMPACTS...Some crops and flowering plants may be damaged or
  killed by freezing temperatures, if left unprotected from the
  cold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
