.A cool airmass will settle into the region this morning. Light
winds and clear skies will lead to areas of frost and freezing
temperatures.

...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* LOCATIONS...The Northern Foothills and Northwest Piedmont of
  North Carolina, and portions of the Southern Foothills and
  Piedmont.

* TEMPERATURES...Lows in the lower 30s.

* IMPACTS...Crops and flowering plants are very likely to be
  damaged if not protected from these cold temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

* IMPACTS...Crops and flowering plants are very likely to be
  damaged if not protected from these cold temperatures and
  frosty conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected.
Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
