...NWS METEOROLOGISTS SURVEYING STORM DAMAGE NEAR MOUNT ULLA IN
ROWAN COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA...

The National Weather Service office in Greenville-Spartanburg SC
is conducting a storm survey today for the area near Mt Ulla in
Rowan County, North Carolina. The survey is in relation to the
severe thunderstorms that moved through the area in the evening
of Thursday April 11, 2024.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by 5 PM.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/gsp
