Widespread rainfall of 0.50-1.50 inches is expected over the next
48 hours across the North Carolina mountains. Some significant rises
are expected on mainstem rivers, but the rivers will stay below Action
Stage.

Rainfall of less than 1.00 inch is expected outside of the
mountains.  This will cause only small rises on mainstem rivers.
