AT 333 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR MAGGIE VALLEY...OR 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF
WAYNESVILLE...MOVING SOUTH AT 5 MPH.

THIS STORM WILL IMPACT LOCATIONS NEAR...
  LAKE JUNALUSKA...
  WAYNESVILLE...
  BALSAM...

NICKEL SIZE HAIL...WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL
ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM. RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES...WITH LOCAL
AMOUNTS TO 3 INCHES...WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STORMS.

HEAVY RAINS MAY FLOOD AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE...SUCH AS DITCHES AND
UNDERPASSES. AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADS. WATER
LEVELS OF SMALL STREAMS AND RIVERS MAY ALSO RISE RAPIDLY. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND IF THREATENED BY FLOOD WATERS.
