AT 631 AM EST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE LEADING EDGE OF A LINE OF
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 11 MILES SOUTH OF
SEVIERVILLE TO 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MURPHY...AND MOVING EAST AT 50
MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
FRANKLIN...SYLVA...BRYSON CITY...ROBBINSVILLE...CHEROKEE...WEBSTER...
DILLSBORO...TOWN OF SANTEETLAH...LAKE SANTEETLAH AND FONTANA VILLAGE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL MAY FLOOD AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE...SUCH AS
DITCHES AND UNDERPASSES. AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. WATER LEVELS OF SMALL STREAMS AND RIVERS MAY ALSO RISE
RAPIDLY. SEEK HIGHER GROUND IF THREATENED BY FLOOD WATERS.
