At 953 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Rock Hill, or near Newport, moving northeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Rock Hill, York, Southwest Charlotte, Fort Mill, Pineville, Tega Cay,
Clover, Newport, Steele Creek, and Carowinds.
