CAROLINA FOOTHILLS AND PIEDMONT...

AS OF 620 AM EDT...A FEW AREA OBSERVATIONS ARE REPORTING VERY LOW
VISIBILITY OF ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS. EXPECT PATCHY DENSE FOG
ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA FOOTHILLS AND PIEDMONT TO
CONTINUE UNTIL AROUND 9 AM. AREAS IMPACTED INCLUDE THE
MORGANTON...HICKORY...LINCOLNTON...AND SHELBY AREAS.

MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE EXTRA CAUTION IN THESE AREAS. BE
PREPARED FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY. ALLOW A LITTLE EXTRA
TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION EARLY THIS MORNING.
