...REPETITIVE HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS WILL IMPACT EASTERN UNION COUNTY
NORTH CAROLINA THROUGH AT LEAST 1230 PM EST...

At 1135 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a series of heavy rain
producing showers moving northward across the eastern half of Union
County in the piedmont of North Carolina. These showers were
producing rainfall at rates of one-quarter to one-half inch per hour
and this rain will affect locations that have already received in
excess of one inch today. Isolated street flooding could result and
stream rises to near bankfull are possible.

Locations to be impacted include Monroe, Wingate, Marshville,
Sturdivants, Unionville, Trinity and New Salem.
