...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ANDERSON...
SOUTHWESTERN PICKENS AND EAST CENTRAL OCONEE COUNTIES UNTIL 515 PM
EDT...

At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles north of Seneca, or 5 miles south of Lake Keowee, moving east
at 15 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Clemson, Seneca, Central, Pendleton, Liberty, Norris, Six Mile, Lake
Keowee, Lake Hartwell and Sandy Springs.

Pea size hail will be possible in these areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio and tv
stations, as well as local cable tv outlets for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell are in the path of this storm. Cloud
to ground lightning and gusty winds will create dangerous boating
conditions. Move to shore immediately.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
Upstate South Carolina.
