...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING IN THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAIN
VALLEYS...

Areas of fog will develop in the lower river valleys of the North
Carolina mountains through daybreak this morning. A few spots will
see dense fog with visibility locally reduced to one-quarter mile
or less at times.

Allow extra travel time and stopping distance if driving in the
mountain valleys this morning. Use low beam headlights and fog
lamps if you encounter dense fog. The fog should steadily lift and
dissipate from sunrise through 10 AM.
