...PATCHY DENSE FOG ACROSS THE WESTERN CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST
GEORGIA THIS MORNING...

Abundant moisture arising from several days of heavy rainfall is
producing patchy dense fog around the region this morning.
Visibility in the fog is expected to be quite variable around
sunrise, with some locations experiencing visibility values less
than one quarter-mile while nearby locations see 10 miles. Patchy
dense fog will likely continue in many locations until 9 am.

Use caution if traveling through the region this morning. Leave a
bit early to allow extra time to reach your destination. Drive
cautiously and allow extra stopping distance, realizing that the
visibility may change very quickly over short distances. Use low
beam headlights and fog lamps if you encounter dense fog.
