...A BRIEF, LIGHT WINTRY MIX POSSIBLE ACROSS THE NORTH CAROLINA
MOUNTAINS THIS MORNING...

At 1055 AM, National Weather Service radar indicated patchy light
precipitation moving over western North Carolina. While most of
the high elevations have warmed above freezing, some pockets of
freezing temperatures remain in sheltered valleys. Brief periods
of very light sleet, snow or even freezing rain could be seen in
these areas. However, no accumulations should occur, and
temperatures will warm above freezing in all areas after noon.
