...HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT SOUTHERN
SPARTANBURG...NORTHERN LAURENS...AND NORTHWEST UNION COUNTIES IN
SOUTH CAROLINA THROUGH NOON...

A PERSISTENT BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO
SLOWLY LIFT NORTHEAST THROUGH THE UPSTATE OF SOUTH
CAROLINA...AFFECTING MAINLY LOCATIONS SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSTATE 85
CORRIDOR. THE HEAVIEST DOWNPOURS WILL IMPACT AREAS FROM HICKORY
TAVERN TO CROSS ANCHOR TO JONESVILLE...AND NEARBY LOCATIONS.

RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL RATES OF ONE HALF TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN
INCH PER HOUR IN THE HEAVIEST DOWNPOURS...AND THIS WAS AFFECTING
SOME LOCATIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF TWO INCHES OF
RAIN THIS MORNING. DEEP STANDING AND RUNNING WATER WILL CONTINUE TO
IMPACT LOW LYING AREAS SUCH AS CULVERTS....DITCHES...AND
UNDERPASSES. STEADY RISES TO NEAR BANKFULL ARE LIKELY ALONG THE
TYGER RIVER AND NEARBY TRIBUTARIES FROM ENOREE TO CROSS ANCHOR TO
PAULINE IN SOUTHERN SPARTANBURG COUNTY.
