* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Anderson County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Central Pickens County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 439 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southwest
  of Pickens, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Easley, Powdersville, Liberty, Norris, Six Mile, Piedmont, Pickens,
  and Welcome.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines over small
areas. A brief period of large hail is also possible. Seek shelter
inside an interior room.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
