...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT
FOR CABARRUS...SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN...NORTHERN MECKLENBURG AND
NORTHEASTERN GASTON COUNTIES...

At 825 PM EDT, another severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles
northeast of Huntersville, or near Coddle Creek Reservoir, moving
east at 30 mph.

The first severe thunderstorm was located two miles east of
Harrisburg, also moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...HAIL DAMAGE TO VEHICLES IS EXPECTED. EXPECT WIND DAMAGE TO
         ROOFS...SIDING AND TREES.

Locations impacted include...
Huntersville, Downtown Concord, Northeast Charlotte, Northwest
Charlotte, West Concord, Cornelius, Mt Holly, Harrisburg, Coddle
Creek Reservoir and Hidden Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A few trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned area.
Hail can cause major property damage, especially to vehicles. Seek
shelter inside an interior room.
